Smart Contract Risk
Smart contracts inherently carry the risk of software defects, including unintended behaviors, logical inconsistencies, or vulnerabilities in both protocol logic and external token implementations. To minimize these risks, Purrlend is built on the Aave V3.0.2 open-source codebase, a framework that has undergone extensive independent auditing and formal verification.
Purrlend introduces controlled modifications to the upstream Aave architecture to suit the Hyperliquid EVM environment. The primary differences include:
No Stable-Rate Borrowing: Only variable-rate borrowing is supported.
Custom Reserve Configurations: Asset parameters are optimized specifically for the Hyperliquid EVM ecosystem.
Purrlend offers unrestricted, permissionless liquidity access on the Hyperliquid EVM, but robust risk management practices are essential to ensure secure protocol performance and user safety.
